Director of Wellness and Curriculum
Director of Curriculum and Wellness Rachel Stuck loves to dive into the latest gut microbiome and metabolite research. Rachel’s close work with the Ixcela science team has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of the metabolites, and she has played a major role in the development of the Ixcela report, results, recommendations, resource libraries, and training materials. She also created Ixcela's first metabolite training course.
Rachel supports the Ixcela pro partners through the creation, development, and implementation of training programs and resources. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the science behind Ixcela allow her to translate complex information into simpler terms for Ixcela customers and pro partners as they learn about the metabolites. Rachel continuously ensures that customers and pro partners feel informed and motivated as they commit to significant lifestyle changes.
Rachel began her career as a chef at a nonprofit children's organization, where she served over one hundred people daily and educated them about the importance of nutrition and wellness. Because of her intense interest in science and our ever-expanding knowledge of nutrition, Rachel left her food-focused path to pursue research and nutrition counseling. Her background in nutrition and cuisine helped her to spearhead the creation of the Ixcela recipe library, and she continues to aid the development of new gut-healthy recipes.
In her free time, Rachel can be found soaking up her new role of mom. She enjoys outdoor activities and exercise, and is learning to embrace her latest running accessory: a jogging stroller. Rachel aims to live her life in a way that makes a positive impact on the planet, her community, and everyone she meets.
