Director of Wellness and Curriculum
Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who earned her bachelor's degree from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania and then completed her dietetic internship at Pennsylvania State University. Her background is in community nutrition, sustainable food systems, culinary arts, and nutrition counseling. At Ixcela, Rachel is responsible for creating nutrition-related content, nutrition counseling, and supporting the success of Ixcela business accounts.
Before working for Ixcela Rachel, she was the Head Chef and Kitchen Coordinator for a nonprofit children's organization in Northern California, where she served over 100 people and educated them about the importance of healthful diet and wellness. She has also spent the last two years offering in-person and virtual nutrition counseling.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys camping, hiking, food photography, and hanging out in the kitchen creating new recipes.
