Ixcela

Customer Service and Operations Specialist Rachel Tortora takes care of several behind-the-scenes operations at Ixcela. She is a resource for customers and assists during the sample retrieval process. She is also involved in shipping Ixcela test kits, and she performs other essential duties in the office.

Rachel majored in nutrition at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in a variety of fields in the classroom and in the community. While at Regis, she played softball and captained during her senior season.

Rachel has applied to Survivor and is still waiting for her chance to meet Jeff Probst and go to tribal council. She is also a first-generation college graduate, and she plans to go back to school to earn her dietitian license in the state of Massachusetts. In the meantime, when she isn’t working, she spends most of her time taking long hikes and practicing new tricks with her rescue dog Mac. Rachel has recently purchased her first home.
