Samantha Nienow
Chief Marketing Officer
Samantha (Sam) Nienow has served as Ixcela’s chief marketing officer since 2019. Sam previously served as our director of creative services in 2018, and as a design and presentation consultant from 2013 to 2018. From 2009 to 2018, prior to joining Ixcela, Sam was the CEO and founder of Red Zest Design, a design firm specializing in helping dynamic speakers prepare TED-worthy slides. Sam helped more than 140 TEDx speakers, including Ixcela’s Dr. Erika Ebbel Angle, prepare for their talk of a lifetime. Dr. Angle’s Your Gut Microbiome: The Most Important Organ You’ve Never Heard Of has more than one million views.
Prior to Red Zest Design, from 2002 to 2009, Sam was a partner and senior designer at LearningChange, a northern California firm specializing in e-learning and online course development. Sam holds a BS in graphic communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
In her free time, you can find Sam pursuing outdoor adventures with friends and family, bingeing on podcasts, or golfing with her husband.
