Ixcela

Director of Operations Shannon Hartsfield oversees the day-to-day operations of Ixcela. With the support of others, she is responsible for HR, finance, IT, and working with the legal team. Shannon started in Ixcela’s sales and marketing department, and then she worked as the pro partnership manager before she was promoted to her current role.

Shannon majored in neuroscience and psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in a variety of research labs including molecular, cellular and developmental biology, social neuroscience and games, phages, genetics, neuroanatomy, chemistry, organic chemistry, perception, and social science.

Because she is passionate about evidence-based and data-supported holistic health and wellness innovations, Shannon is proud to provide practitioners with technology that offers measurable and actionable health insights to improve the lives of others. Shannon believes that the more information we have about our bodies, the better we can understand our health and how to comprehensively address wellness challenges.

In her free time, Shannon likes to read, travel, spend time with friends and family, explore local architecture, and practice yoga. She has a puppy named Loona.
